Sounds counter intuitive to normal boat buying logic, but corporate will be pushing dealers to move boats Arpil-June to hit ebita projections for year end since they are publicly traded. June in theory would be when they are more willing to take less GP per boat to bolster earnings before closing the books. Just a thought.
Respectfully. Problem with that theory is that Cobalt inventory is limited to production, which has been selling out by April. Therefore, no need to get aggressive. In fact, they can raise prices even further.
Thats right. I was amazed to learn that every boat in production has been ordered. I'm sure there are probably some dealers that have ordered boats for display and inventory purposes, but to keep the supply even or slightly behind demand is a sound pricing strategy. I think about the amount of coin when we saw so many R30 and A36s under construction, and how those boats were already custom ordered for a buyer. In the room with the new A36s I counted roughly $8 million alone. And Dane said there is a separate facility where they build the big boys, and as it turned out, we drove right by it on the way out to town headed back to Oklahoma. Jeesh... Thats a lot of money being generated in BFSE Kansas!

Yep by the time boats hit the water the harbor will most likely be out of their inventory of R7’s. They may have an r30 or some smaller boats in their showroom in the spring. By summer all they have to show are Harris pontoons.

It might be the cappuccino colored interior holding it back.
Aside from that, it looks pretty straight and loaded with the equipment TG was looking for.

I’ve got an email out on the brokerage boat.

The white with red boot stripe at Loto has been for sale for a long time. Plus it doesn’t have the chart plotter so it’s a no.

I looked at the one at Clinton Marine today. They seem to always have cheap R7’s. Might call them Monday.

Would I be crazy to consider an R5? It’s only 4 inches shorter than my 262.
