That's for as much fun as mine. Same small person that designed this never gave up his or hers sippy cup!!

You know it may be a “Cup holder Delete “ option when you have a 30 footer and a single. Your gonna be busy...

I’m pretty sure where that cup holder is at. Is where the joy stick goes

You still get a "nice" cup holder" if you choose to get a joy stick.

Did they sign an exclusive deal with Autozone for those cup holders?

I agree. Looks like it came out of the bargain bin at Walmart.

While I have to mention I came from a 5.7 liter in a 24 foot Larson, I find the 380 HP 8.1 to be great for my 282. Would it be fun to have more power! No doubt, I drool over the twins on the back of cmattj's candied red beauty every time I see it. But I boat on one of the busiest lakes in the country and rarely get a chance to go over 35 mph and when I can go faster I may get to 50 twice a summer. I also find the low end to be amazing for this big of a boat. I have been boating for over 30 years and will admit I have never had the pleasure of using a joystick or twins for that matter to dock, so I can only speak to one side of the discussion. I also have no issues docking this 29 ft boat with a single engine. I do occasionally say regretful things to my wonderful wife and kids when docking. Maybe that would not be the case with twins?!

I actually purchased the R30 mentioned upthread from the dealer in IL. Waiting for it to be brought out to Seattle!

Below are the prop charts from Cobalt on the R30. The headings didn't come through real clear, so i wrote underneath each one the headers.

After reviewing the prop charts I wasn't too concerned by having the dual 300s.

Makes it look like twin VP 300s would be my pick, but it would be fun to see people in “fast” boats watch you pass them at 67mph with Twin 430s :)
