Ok I AM a horrible person. I ADMIT IT.
Yeah Nauti, I’ll see you there, and I’m sure there will be a few friends of ours there as well..
Show me a nut cruncher skate board vid and I’m laughing...
You know, I must get it from my wife.
We have two hammocks side by side in our woods. One day I joined her and sat down in mine a little too aggressively. Well, I went butt checks over tea cups. Hurt my shoulder bad and knocked the wind out of myself. She laughed so hard with issues controlling her bladder, and she couldn’t breathe for a minute from laughing.. I was hurt, really hurt, but she made me laugh too. I think that was where I tore the Labrum in my shoulder.. screw it, it was funny...

Tuscany I have to admit, the mental image that I just painted in my mind of you flipping around in a hammock causing your wife to wet her pants from laughing so hard probably would have made me pee my own pants!Tuscany wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2019 12:22 pmOwwwowowwwowwwwoowwwNautiGirl wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:32 am I will see you in Hell Buddy. Re: Does this make me a bad person?
In regards to the original posted video: No, you're not a bad person at all. Listen, everybody knows somebody who was best friends with each member on that boat and they all are super awesome individuals with years and years of racing experience under their belts and they were only going 44% of a potential top speed in a super awesome poker race across dangerous and murky waters infested with Kraken. Blah blah blah. I get it. But the truth of the matter is for somebody who is apparently that 'knowledgeable' about racing boats (the driver) simply should have known better than to have a bunch of people standing around in a boat doing 70 on what appears to be unknown water. Plain and simple. No matter which way you look at it, he should have known better.
I'm not at all one to throw stones for I know I've made my share of mistakes over the years, but the fact is, when you have people under your safety and responsibility who clearly don't understand the potential risks involved (ie: 70mph standing in a boat, etc), then it is up the Captain to ensure the boat and its passengers are operating in such a way to mitigate risks, and thus injuries. Especially with a boat capable of so much more. None of this should have happened. None. Taking control and owning your passengers safety....it comes with the territory. It's what separates the good from the bad. Of all the people on-board, he (the super boat race driver) should have simply known better. Yes, I feel bad for all the people for nobody should ever be hurt while operating a boat...ever. But there is a bit of shocking yet comical awe about this video and I for one appreciate both aspects it provides.
I would like to think that this experience and subsequent video may at least cause another driver to take a moment of pause and rethink their actions should a similar opportunity present itself.
Good times.

Ok, Don't judge me CC.
An all time Nancy favorite, forever coined as a Galooly.
The funny thing? When my daughter was two years old, she loved Tanya Harding. My wife would look at me and wondering what we might be in for.
My daughter still laughs about that, and said she loved her gold skates.

Of course I have. I think it's funnier than the original, but stewie didn't break some ribs and puncture a lung like the original lady!
