Yt. That call today I was speechless. Yes it will give us plenty to talk about in 2 weeks.
I feel a little responsible for as you said you only brought it home for us so you can clean it so Matt and I and nauti's don't pick the living daylights out of you if it was dirty 😂😂😂
Ok I don't feel guilty anymore. I had to get that off my chest.
Glad you and your Mule are ok too. The boat will be fine. You'll get her looking like new again.

The dealer I ordered it from (not my dealer) was very helpful in this. They make a nice product, but yes to the needing some CS work.
I retrieved my cover on Friday from the dude who rescued it from the side of the road and put it on the boat yesterday. It's a very, very nice cover.

Good thing I will have two of them.

I guess this is why CS doesn't sell direct.

Bama that is excellent advice and you're absolutely right. But when you see your Cobalt rolling down the hill it's really hard not to grab the tongue and think you can do something about it. I wasn't going to just stand there and let that summbiscuit go! But I did jump up and give a mighty shove on the bow to redirect it, although I'm not sure why because it would have hit another tree anyway if the Mule hadn't been sitting there.
Chocks are good, but I've got to the point of not un-hooking the safety chains until after releasing from the ball, everything settles and I know the chocks are holding.

Glad everything was OK and your baby was only bruised!

Hey good point I like that. I'm always more afraid of it rolling forward into the vehicle.

Smokes I thought of that afterwards, as I was thinking through how I let no checking slip by in the first place. I ALWAYS check my wheels, but got distracted. So now I'll ne leaving the far chain hooked up.

Drug my outdrive up the boat ramp at the end of my first trip with the boat at 5:48pm, Friday, August 2, 2019. I was going to throw up, but I was in the boat and I didn't want to clean it up. I'm still angry about that.

I think this might fit into upgrade, but since I think this has been a giant colossal waste of money I thought I would put it in this thread.

I had been debating about Aqua Marine deck or Sea dek flooring. However, I was not ready to have this stuff adhered to the floor to where I cannot pull it up to clean things out, but I wanted something to put down to make the floor a little more cushiony and attractive. So I ordered the Duraweave Teak 503 from MatWorks Ltd.

I got my mats and started to install the pieces from the aft to the bow. I got the first piece down and went to get the second piece. As I stepped onto the piece I just laid down I quickly jumped back and let a few cuss words out. The matieral was freakin' HOT.

I got out my laser thermometer and thermal camera out. The mat got to 153 degrees vs the white deck was 113 degrees. I figured the material would be warmed but not 40 degrees hotter and hot enough to cause a burn in a second of contact time!

When I contacted Matworks they said they do not do refunds and that since they dont make the Duraweave material I would have to talk with the makers of the Duraweave material, Infinity Luxury Woven Vynil. So now I have a fight on my hands.

Here are a couple links to thermal imagining videos.

Well, Sea Grass gets plenty hot also. Enough to burn.
Don’t feel bad...We just remodeled our entire deck using a product called Azek Vintage. It’s a 100% polymer product. Dear GOD does it get hot..
