I would low ball the 2006 and see what they say. Other wise I agree with our local 220 expert.

Sorry but looking at the picture of the tower. It appears to be a add on. The binimi on it is one that came with the boat without a tower. They are really bad pictures so hard to see the tower. My binimi is part of the tower.

Well turns out the 2006 is a much much nicer boat in terms of quality of interior and hull. They are offering it at $31,995 and are including a brand new 2020 trailer. in that price Some inspection notes here:

2006 220
381 hours on mercury 6.2 mpi
compression, propeller, ignition and starter rated as Good
controls, alternator, outdrive and power trim rated as Good
Lower unit rated as FAIR
Note that outdrive needs new anodes?

Interior of boat looks very good and I like how the 2006 doesn't have the after market tower but does have the bimini.

Thoughts on this deal???

Not sure what that rating scale means. But not sure why in fresh water the anodes are bad. Kind of odd to me. 6.2 is a great engine. Did it have a b3 drive? I think they are a good 4 to 5k too high. If I was selling that boat is at 27k

thanks for the quick feedback! only 1 owner and boat has been in Lake Tahoe and Almanor only. this is the dealer that originally sold the boat and serviced so i'll inquire about the anodes. will see if they will move down closer to your #
