I have the same issue w my 2016 220s w the 280hp. The slightest touch and shes ready to takeoff...kinda reminds me of a gal I once knew in college;-)

I don't understand the problem, throttles only have 2 positions; 12 and 9 O'clock.

We have the VP 350. Very touchy from about 30 mph. I don't control it from the handle once on plane. But I do agree that there is nothing wrong with a throttle being used like an on/off switch!

I had/have the same issue on my r3....300hp. Very touchy throttle. I found that keeping my hand off the top of the lever and controlling it from closer to the base makes it easier to adjust. It does get easier with time.

I also found out the hard way, don't rest your hand on the throttle in choppy conditions.....unless you want to go WOT unintentionally.....
