Thanks

Re: LED tape lights
+1 on the SuperbrightLEDs, used them on my last boat, I'll link them because I had success with them. https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/flexible-led-strip-lights-color-changing/waterproof-led-light-strips-with-multi-color-leds-outdoor-led-tape-light-with-18-smds-per-ft-3-chip-rgb-smd-led ...

Re: LED tape lights
What are you looking for? Single color, white, RGB or RGBW? Best advice is to avoid the cheap junk on Amazon
Just looking for some white light, something I can cut to lengths for lighting around the recessed areas on the boat. Like your comment, I don't want to buy some junk. I would like to ...

Re: Help ID this...
It may be the “bottom support” of you wet storage area.
It is the storage locker you access from the swim platform on the port side of the boat. Has a mesh lining, the large plastic sheet you are describing sits in there on the bottom to give that area some support and shape.

Re: Adding SeaDek???
Hi
I didn’t get a proof to approve. Maybe due to me ordering a “stock” part from them? They had the platform from a 252 (same as 242 for swim platform) on file so I just ordered it with our color choices.

Re: Adding SeaDek???
yup
Mine was delivered last week and has their logo in the forward port corner. They don't tell you that when you order it. I tried to get the "Cobalt" name on mine but was denied.... They did credit me the $50 after I contacted them by email to remind them.

Re: Serpentine belt and idler pulley
If you look close on the pulley it will likely have a GM part number stamped in it. Look it up on google. I got mine for $54.00 delivered.

What weight oil are you using?jhnmdahl wrote: Mon May 06, 2019 9:16 pm I’ve used Sierra filters, but get that for a few bucks more many don’t want to stray from Volvo branded stuff. And I’ve always had good luck with NGK or Bosch for plugs, and I’ve been using NGK TR5IX in my boat. Mobil 1 from Walmart is good, cheap oil.

Re: Factory Table diameter - 09 242?
Yes, that table had a weighted base. It was really nice to be able to slide the table around to accomadate different situations. But that was a boat with 14’ of beam so there was lots of room for “activities”. (step brothers reference)
