Just picked up my new R8 yesterday. Was able to take it on my maiden voyage yesterday with the dealer and my wife and kids. Can't wait until it starts getting a little bit warmer. :D

Captain I have to tell you I was surprised at how large the boat appeared on the trailer! I didn’t get an exact measurement but the boat and the trailer was 35 feet long give or take 6 to 12 inches.

The height on trailer was all of 13 feet if not 6 inches more. We were doing estimates ...

I spoke with our local Cobalt dealer that we have our order with that the boat is supposed to be coming in by end of year. They did confirm that there is a surcharge but did not confirm the amount. However with that said they would honor our pricing and not increase the price ...
